What Is Better, Playing Online Slots Or Online Casinos With Progressive Slots and Video Poker Games?

In an age of internet, phone conversations and Skype video we've lost sight of the simple pleasures of the land based casino. Our priorities have shifted to what might be called "online casino gaming," but this "modern" approach to gambling fails to appreciate the true mark of a casino, and why they are so much more fun than any of the newfangled systems devised for "real casino gambling." For instance, one of the more popular casino games on the World Wide Web is Real Slot Machines. Why is this so? Because Real Slot Machines is one of the few casino games that can be enjoyed by virtually anyone.

While online slots have been designed for people who can't get to a land-based casino, they are also "simplified" for those who can't be bothered traveling to Las Vegas or Atlantic City. On the casino floor there are only slot machines, and their purpose isn't customer service or entertainment, it's gambling. So it follows that if there aren't any slot machines on the casino floor, there aren't any customers there either. The casino may have all kinds of slick advertising and "professional" looks, but this is all superficial.

Now then, I'd like to address a major issue that some people feel is related to all casino games. This issue has to do with the Internet and online casinos themselves. I call it "casino regulation" because it is basically an attempt to regulate the online casinos and limit their appeal. That is, the casino regulators want all of the slot machines to have jackpots that pay off in full each time. Is all of this going to really improve the experience of playing at a casino?

Well, let's say that
sgpool casino regulation is really a good idea, because all of the slot machines at a casino should have to pay out limits, and pay-line odds that exceed 50% of the total possible payouts. That means the casino profits from those slots will be higher, and the casino should be making more money off those slots. That's a positive thing! If there were no pay-line odds, then it would be more difficult for slot players to beat the odds and have a greater chance of winning real cash from the machines.

I'm not saying that online casino regulation wouldn't benefit casinos in other ways as well. I am simply saying that you can make a lot of money in the slot machine business, whether you play online casino games or not. And while online casino games should always offer the same basic casino games, they are not all alike. For instance, online casino games like progressive slot machines or keno should offer spins based on certain combinations and not random outcome. That makes the casino more likely to hit more pay-lines and therefore maximize their profits from the slot machines.

Online slot machines and video poker games should not compete with each other. In fact, the online casino industry has grown so quickly that casino operators now have more than enough slots to attract new customers and fill all of the available slots at any given casino.

The only real question is whether the online casino games offered by each casino will offer the same basic casino games that are offered at other casinos, or whether each online casino offers unique casino games that will provide more excitement and more chances of payout for players. So that's the question: what is better, an online casino that offers progressive slots and video poker games at the maximum payout levels and minimum pay-line odds, or a traditional casino that offers the same basic casino games but with smaller pay-line odds and larger jackpots?
